All local flights will be grounded as a result of the change in weather patterns
Notice To Air Men (NOTAM), all local flights within the country will be grounded from 5TH December, 2015 until there is clearance from the Meteorological department of GCAA. This decision is as a result of the low visibility which comes as a result of the harmattan season and particularly more serious over the northern sector of the country. As a result all airlines are advised not to operate within this period until a notice of clearance is given by the GCAA. This action is taken to enable a safe airspace in the country and for the safety of both passengers and the airlines.
