A. This Advisory Circular (AC) provides amethod for regulated entities (seedefinition) to voluntarily self-disclose apparent violations of the Ghana CivilAviation Directives (GCAD).
\nB. Regulated entities are encouraged, but not required, to develop quality assurance systems that continually monitor company policies and procedures and ensure that the highest level of safety and security compliance is maintained.
\nC. They may voluntarily disclose apparent violations of GCAD covered by this program inaccordance with the procedures in this AC even though a safety management system or other type of quality assurance program has not been established.<\/p>\n

This Circular provides background information and guidance with regard to an application for an aircraft Type Acceptance Certificate (TAC). The Type Acceptance Certificate is a document required under the GCAD 5.2.2 and describes the certification basis of a product acceptable to the GCAA. \n1) For all Approved Maintenance Organizations (AMO) certificate holders or applicants under the GCAD Part 5; and
\n2) To develop and evaluate a Maintenance Organization Procedures Manual (MOPM) and Quality Assurance Manual (QAM).
