1. OverFlight\/Enroute and Landing Permit<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

All non-scheduled flights into, from or over the territory of Ghana shall be required to obtain a permit at least 72 hours prior to date of intended flight.<\/p>\n

Scheduled overflight for operators not operating into Ghana, same rate applied.<\/p>\n

The following charges shall be applicable:<\/p>\n

A. Single Request<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. Information Required<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The request for Overflight\/Enroute and Landing Permits must include the following information:<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Name of Operator<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Address of Operator<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Type Of Aircraft<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Registration<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Call sign<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Estimated Date and Time of Arrival<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Point of Departure and Destination<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Name and Address of Charterer\/Local Agent or contact in Ghana (only Landing request)<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Telephone and Fax<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Pilot\u2019s Name and Nationality<\/p>\n

\u00b7 No. of souls on board<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Purpose of flight<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Type of Cargo on board<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Type of Arms and Ammunition on board<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Full Itinerary in the Airspace\/Routing (point of entry and exit)<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Any other information<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Base of Aircraft<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Billing Address including\u00a0Email Address<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Telephone Number.<\/em><\/p>\n

NOTE: In addition to the above, provide BIO-DATA of crew and passengers for landing request only.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Exemptions<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Presidential \u2013 Aircraft carrying head of state NB: All presidential flight permit request must be channelled through the Ministry of Transport.<\/p>\n

<\/div>\n

4. Permit Request Procedure<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

a) Send all permit requests to the portal by this link\u00a0https:\/\/portal.caa.com.gh.<\/a><\/p>\n

b)\u00a0 A\u00a0Reference Number<\/strong>\u00a0shall be issued to you upon submission of required information.<\/p>\n

c)\u00a0 All payments must indicate the Reference Number issued at (b) above.<\/p>\n

d)\u00a0 Copy of the pay-in-slip or payment instruction\/advice must be forwarded to\u00a0ais@gcaa.com.gh<\/a><\/span>\u00a0and\u00a0finance.receivables@gcaa.com.gh<\/a><\/span>. NB: All payments made are\u00a0NOT REFUNDABLE<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

e)\u00a0 A permit number shall be issued to you upon successful clearance<\/p>\n

f)\u00a0 Non-compliance with the aforementioned procedures shall result in a refusal of permit request.<\/p>\n

5. Payment Details<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please arrange to make all payments for permit requests to either of the following:<\/p>\n

a) By Credit Card through the GCAA Portal<\/a>.<\/p>\n

b) By Credit Card or Cash at the Cash Office or Briefing Office, Finance, Ghana Civil Aviation Authority Headquarters, Kotoka International Airport, Accra.<\/p>\n
