6. Permit To Fly Ultralight Aircraft

6.1  

The Authority may issue a Permit to Fly in respect of an UL aircraft for operation in lieu of Type Certificate and Certificate of Airworthiness. Such a permit shall enable the operator to fly the specified UL aircraft within the Republic of Ghana subject to the conditions given therein.

6.2  

The permit to fly shall be valid for the operational life of an Ultralight but may be revised or revoked at any time by the Authority.

6.3  

Non-conformity with the conditions of the Permit to Fly or operations outside the limitations of the aircraft as described in the operations manual and or form GCAA UL3 – Ultralight Aircraft Operations Summary Sheet – for the specific aircraft shall lead to suspension of the validity of the Permit to Fly.
