SECTION 1 POLICY & GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 PURPOSE
A. The purpose of this advisory circular (AC) is to provide guidance to aircraft operators seeking Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approval for operations requiring ground deicing and anti-icing program for safety operation.
B. This advisory circular also provides the basis by which an operator, with an approved ground deicing and anti-icing program, may deice and anti-ice their aircraft using another operators’s ground deicing and anti-icing program that has been approved by the national civil aviation authorities.
