DIRECTOR GENERAL FETES WITH STAFF OF TAMALE

Staff of Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA)’s Tamale outstation could not hide their excitement as the Director-General of GCAA, Air Cdre Kwame Mamphey joined them once again to party in appreciation of their contribution towards a successful year 2011.

The staff were joined by family and friends as well as colleague from the Ghana Airports company limited and other stakeholders at Tamale to make merry as there was enough to eat and drink. They danced to good music and the famous “azonto” could not be missed.

In a brief end of year message, the Director-General thanked the staff for their hard work and commitment during the year 2011 despite the challenges that came up and more especially with the increase in number of domestic airlines flying in and out of Tamale.

The Administrative Representative of GCAA Tamale, Mr. Rex Appiah thanked management on behalf of his colleagues for the encouragement and support in improving the status and working environment in Tamale. He assured management that they would work tirelessly to improve upon their services at Tamale.

The Administrative Officer for Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), Tamale, who was exhilarated, thanked Air Cdre Mamphey for the organization and for feting with them the previous year and also this year. He added that the two organizations had come a long way and considering the numbers at the get-together, the number of GACL staff outnumbered the GCAA staff. To this end, he said that they would commit to working together to ensure the satisfaction of customers and operators at the Airport.
