GCAA Staff, "AYEEKOO" PDF Print E-mail

 

 

 

The Director-General of Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Air Cdre Kwame Mamphey, has applauded all staff, management and board of GCAA for their commitment and support that yielded many accomplishments for the Authority in the year 2011. He urged all to reflect on the past year and come out with resolutions which will see the Authority through to an enviable end of 2012.

Air Cdre Mamphey was speaking at the 2011 staff end-of-year get together in Accra.

He also commended staff for a peaceful working environment and their role in installing new air navigational equipment and the promotion of safety at large. He was optimistic that 2012 was going to be an even better year.

At the same ceremony, some members of staff were given special awards for their outstanding performance towards the Authority’s development in 2011.

Ms Bernice Ayerh-Klu was also awarded the overall best dancer as she flexibly led the famous “Azonto” dance to the admiration of all. The DG of GCAA and his Deputy did not miss their steps as they did their own thing dancing to the “Azonto” tune. Other GCAA Directors joined staff to dance to good music amidst eating and drinking in celebrating a successful year.
